Cub Scouts Swimming Elective

*For Swimming Merit Badge: 100 yard swim test (BSA Swimmer Test) must be demonstrated the first night.
We recommend attending from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM the first night, so initial testing can be completed (no added charge).
**For Lifesaving Merit Badge: 400 yard swim test the first night. A bit of advice! Work on your strokes, especially side, breast, and American crawl ("free style") before that first night test. Also swim laps - work on your endurance in advance of that first night. In simple terms: Be Prepared!

Completed requirements are signed by Swimming and Lifesaving Merit Badge Counselors.

A bit of advice...
Register for the fall or winter session! Our spring session is the most crowded.

Please note: For further information about the swim program, please contact Dan Baltudis, BSA Aquatics Director, via email at baltudis@mac.com. Please do not contact the Congregational Church of Jefferson Park or the Playdium as they do not have anything to do with the running of this program.
