1st through 5th grade boys, ages 7 to 10 are invited to join our program.
We meet during the school year on Thursday evenings, 7 PM - 8 PM at the

Congregational Church of Jefferson Park
5320 W. Giddings, Chicago
(Giddings and London Streets just west of Milwaukee Ave.)

Notes:
Regular Den Meetings are held every Thursday (unless otherwise indicated in the schedule) from 7:00 - 8:00 pm.

Parent Meetings are held monthly after Den Meetings from 8:00 - 8:45 pm.

Pack Nights are usually held on the last Friday of the month from 7:30 -9:00 pm (unless otherwise indicated in the schedule). All family members are invited. At least one parent must accompany their scout to Pack Nights and other Cub Scout functions.

Swimming instruction will be offered in three, 10 week sessions on Tuesdays beginning in October at the Playdium in Glenview. Click on the link at the bottom of this page for more information.

Saturday, Mar. 14 9:00 AM	Auction Set-Up Drop off your auction items and baked goods at the Congregational Church and help clean them up to bring the best price at the auction. This is and enjoyable day which will give you the chance to preview what will be up for bids and also get to know the other scout families and leaders. Remember that in the past, Troop 979 has generously given 10% of the auction proceeds to our Pack. Please come out and help!
Sunday, March 15 12:00 PM	BOY SCOUT AUCTION Attend the auction! You never know what treasures you will find! One year, a lucky bidder purchased an authentic German punch bowl for a pittance and found out it was worth over $400! Troop 979's Mothers Club will be serving up delicious food and the bakery will have a wonderful selection of items to satisfy your sweet tooth. Bring a friend and help support the troop!
